Trump, Irish leader meet amid differences on trade, Gaza war
Trump y el líder irlandés se reúnen en medio de diferencias sobre comercio y la guerra en Gaza
Trump met with the Irish leader amid differences over trade and the war in Gaza. He said he would respond to retaliatory tariffs that the European Union announced on Wednesday; Ireland is a member of the EU. The comment drew attention to trade tensions with European nations and to disagreements raised at the meeting about both economic measures and the Gaza conflict. The encounter reflected ongoing friction on trade policy and international affairs between the two sides, with tariffs and the Gaza war the central areas of difference.
